If you betide to be a fan of modern Italian interior design, then you certainly heard of Alf Da Fre, an important brand in the field. Today we choosen to show some of their ideas on minimalist and contemporary home arrangements. These specific pictures are of 10 different living-rooms, all having a well determined personality. We enjoy the use of shades that stand out in some of the interiors, however remaining subtle. You will also notice some ideas in black and white, and we are happy to share them with you. Some details are worth mentioning, such as the pillows meant for seating, the original lamps and of course a lot of decorating items that can easily engage one’s attention. Which one do you favor?

In our yard, we directed my “big dreams” by focusing on one “zone” at a time (see my post on how to design a backyard). See the backyard transformation here. Zeroing in on designing one unusual area can be a way to stretch the budget and resources as well as a way to help focus notice on one project at a time.

Pottery Barn is a design company founded in 1949 in Manhattan and planned on their work reflecting the idea that” home furnishings should be exceptional in comfort, style and quality.” We do not know much about their comfort and quality, but one thing we can say for sure: their furniture looks absolutely amazing! Perhaps it is the vintage touch or the original letters and numbers embedded in the decorations. Or the colors that are not too flashy, nor neutral. And what do you think about the overall arrangements? The flower arrangements really seem to fit in and light up the rooms. Whichever it is, we invite you to take a closer look and pick out those elements that you like the most. In other words, we hope you will find plenty of inspiration in the pictures below.

Viewing height: Depending on the height you choose to contemplate your television will dictate how to add artwork or decorative items around it. For those that want it set mounted on a low console, you will be able to optimize more of the wall beyond it for artwork. While if you resolve to ascend it on the wall, the television can compete with artwork – which can be distracting. For larger rooms that have a long viewing range, a wall application will work better. While smaller, narrower rooms will benefit from the lower console.

Share seating from adjacent rooms: If you have an open floor idea, sharing seating with and adjoining space like a kitchen island or living room can be a viable option. This notion works well when entertaining a large group of people that are all involved in different activities, such as mingling, eating, and small conversation rooms. If you do delight a lot, consider buying sectional seating that can accommodate more people as opposed to only single chairs.
