Have you ever wanted a floating bed, like those from SciFi movies ? Now it’s almost possible. The Fluttua bed from Lago has the appearance that it is floating a short distance from the floor. To give the bed its floating appearance, the frame attaches to the wall and supports a single post under the center.I’m sure that this bed can have a strong impact on your visitors, and they will be impressed. Today I’ve discovered this interesting door handle. As you can see from this pictures the handle indicates the room is occupied with a red light on the outside of the door when the thumb turn is activated. When the room is vacant there is a continuous green light on the outside. This door handle can be very useful for toilets, and especially in college dorms, when students can send an obvious “Don’t disturb !!!”a message to their roommates.
Of all the spaces in your home, the bedroom is undoubtedly the one place where you can fully and freely be yourself without any inhibitions. It is a safe and comfortable haven and the perfect bedroom is all about finding what works for you best. Beyond the obvious like a cozy bed and a lovely color scheme, there are little details that make your bedroom a lot more pleasant and functional. A smart nightstand is definitely on the top of this list. Beside tables come in a wide range of forms and the more minimal nightstands tend to cut back on excesses even while saving space.
In fact, your small bedroom may be a blessing for a better night’s sleep. The American Sleep Association recommends keeping stimulating activities out of the bedroom. They warn that distractions like TV, internet, and work can disrupt your sleep patterns. So, the less there is to do in your bedroom, the more sleep you set yourself up for. How’s that for smart design? Here are ten small bedroom ideas and tips to help you create a bedroom space that may be small in square footage, but is big in style.
